Frugal Living

Last week with my Poly friends was probably my last expensive meal..

This fish with Al Scampi sauce is quite yummy.

Well it was perhaps about a year since the last time I saw them..

People just drift apart eventually. At least we still do meet up once in a while.

Anyway, just received the email from Unisim about the payment for my course fee.

Damn it, now that I calculated, I am freaking short of money!!

Waiting for payday to come and then I have to immediately say bye to it~

All to be thrown in for studies. A small bit for meals, transport and other essentials.

Feels totally shitty to have an empty bank account -_-

& I wonder if I'll be able to save any from the upcoming month.

I have yet to start saving for my Korea trip man.

No more eating expensive meals, I have given myself a limit of not spending more than $3 for lunches.

Okok I can do this.... Sigh~ and no more going out for movies or gatherings.

Unless I can stand watching my friends eat..

Even more of my no-life days are coming up.

Food & MORE FOOD

Last Thursday we went to this Japanese stall in Orchard, for Regine's birthday treat.

The Gyoza is yummyyummy!

I requested for a second plate when I'm actually already full. Hehe

Japanese fried rice that Crystal highly recommended to us.

I'm still not a fan of fried rice.

I love their Cha Shu Ramen's soup though! Oishii!

Our dessert was at PS, Nana's Green Tea.

I am officially in LOVE with Matcha Ice Cream!!!!

The vanilla ice cream is really good toooo!

Ahhhhh I thought I was in heaven. Hehe

Yesterday, Met up with Joelle and Jeff.

I knew we haven't met for a long time, but didn't realized the last time was actually last year!!!

Seriously? Wow, time passes really fast hur.

Anyway, we went to Cafe Pal again and I tried their main course for the first time.

Pineapple Fried Rice

and Tom Yum soup.

We ordered Grilled Chicken Wings as well but forgot the picture.

Anyway, their main course is okay~~

Tom Yum not bad. What I like about the cafe is their layout and also it is not very crowded.

Well we ordered Mango Sticky Rice again haha.

Cuz it's so nice! But really really small portion.

I seriously need to stop spending so much on food already. Too used to eating expensive stuffs. Now I need to control, else I have no money to go to Korea... I want to go there have Korean cuisine quite badly now. & go crazy shopping~~ Pray that I can save enough...

How to Train your DRAGON

Watched 'How to train your Dragon 2' yesterday, damn it I thought it's out officially already. End up we didn't get to use GV member Tuesday promotion. Movie tickets are so expensive now, sobs...

Anyway, this is probably one of my favorite animated movie. SO NICE :D

Toothless is too cute!

I don't know why but I'm really really happy that all the recent movies that I watched are so good!

Except those that I streamed online though..

It's a relief I did not waste money watching them in theatres...

十年

Ten years ago I was thirteen. The clock is spinning too fast.

For the first time in my life I was crazy over someone. Also for the first time, I remember having friends celebrating my birthday for me, and I actually ruined it because it was the first time I had people surprising me. I think.

I got sprayed by water, I got angry and just walked off. What the hell was wrong with me?

I'm Sorry.

Four years of secondary school years and all I remember is that special someone, that lower sec crush. & my first few friends I made in school. and even though huge part of my sec school life was with my councillor friends, I can't remember anything anymore. All I remember was we were close once. Then I graduated first and we drifted apart. Maybe it was because I am from different batch, or because I was never important, or whatever reasons. How much I treasure our friendship or how many times I tried to bring us back together, it never worked. So then I figured out, some things can't be forced. We are not meant to be best friends.

In Poly I got to know some bitches, our friendship fell apart eventually for some reasons. & I was really really upset that I think I cried. Well I got over it later. People come and go, I'll get used to that.

However I do have some lovely people who stayed by me, and even though not too close, they cared. & I'm thankful to have them. We catch up once in a while, I guess thats enough for me.

To 10 years of friendship. Thanks for not letting it fall apart.

& to the only yummy dessert we had that night. Hehe

Ten years later I wonder, if I'll still be the same me.

Will I be happier? and will those I love now still be with me?

Perhaps sometimes I would run away, but when I return, will any of you still be there for me?

Drama Frenzy

Caught Maleficent yesterday and I loveee how easy it is to get ticket for one.

Even when the theater is packed, there will still be seat (Y)

Anyway, Angelina Jolie is awesome. & it seems like Disney nowadays have decided not to go the typical fairytales way. They are bringing the good out of the villains. Hahaha... & also somewhat telling us that true love does not necessary need to be from a Prince.

Oh well, As long as it ends with Happily Ever After.

Recently chasing two new dramas. Hotel King and Angel Eyes.

I came to Hotel King from watching Roommate, Lee Dong Wook.

At first I didn't checked whether the whole show is out or not, so I thought there was only 16 episodes.

& then I was so excited to finish the show that I stayed up late for it. End up they have not finish airing.

Aiyah....... okay lo...

Did I mentioned before that I am very attracted to charming smiles?

Damn, Lee Sang Yoon & Koo Hye Sun have the perfect smile.

The dimples ahhhhh~ :P

As for Variety shows, I'm watching We Got Married Global Edition - Season 2.

Whereby 11 celebs live together in a big house.

I don't understand how is it interesting to be watching other's daily life, rather than living your own life with colors. but anyway, we still like to watch it. Perhaps because its comforting to see celebrities having similar habits as ourselves, which brings us slightly closer and believing that we aren't that different.

I don't know. Kk, I'm flying to Korea in September. Can't wait, but I'm kinda broke now. Not sure if I am able to save enough for the holiday~~~ We'll see. Maybe go there and eat instant noodles everyday hahaha... and er... also means I need to take unpaid leave for my next exam... Ran out of leaves.

So recently...

I went to Windowsills in the woods with Jo one fine Tuesday. Actually we were just looking for a place to settle our dinner and it was freaking hot so we had to find a place with air-con hahaha!

So here we are.

It's nice, but would be perfect if it's less crowded. Anyway, we were hesitating whether to eat here because the menu actually doesn't seem appealing and there was not much variety. Well after all they are famous for their pies, not main courses.

I ordered this 'Atas burger'.. I think that's what its called. & Jo's was 'Homemade Beef Burger'.

It's actually quite yummy! Goodgood didn't disappoint us.

& then we were too full to try the pies.... ):

Well I also caught this movie lately. 'Edge of Tomorrow'

TOM CRUISE

It was like playing game, you fight the monster, you die and you restart and try to find other ways to win the fight. Pretty cool, & well, it's Tom Cruise! So yea, watch it! :D
