This is a Food post, I haven't blog food for a while, so ta-dah!
All the good food throw-backs of July.
With my dears, CL, Jo and Esther, we went to Shokudo at Cineleisure.
I was a Shokudo fan but they have changed the menu and I feel that the food (those that I used to always order) are not as good as before now. It's saddening...
Their pizza became round and the Unagi diced up and not spread evenly.
Previously their pizzas were rectangular and cut into eight pieces, each slice with a good size of Unagi.
We also had their mushroom cheese pizza.
This is not too bad.
I tried their Crunchy Salmon Maki last time and the standard dropped too. It's different now, I am so disappointed!
Oh well, moving on..
One fine lunch time, my colleagues drove us out for Geylang Prawn Noodle..
I love the not too thick not too thin bee hoon, and the soup too!
Haha it's yummmmm.
My date with ah ling one Saturday, supposed to accompany her to flee but I was late lol.
So we met at Vivocity straight and had our late lunch at a Hong Kong Cafe.
I ordered Beef Brisket Noodle but it wasn't what I expected. I was expecting the thick gravy kind but I guess that is not the Hong Kong style hahahah. Aih, okay this wasn't too bad too la.
Gathering with my poly labmates plus advance birthday celebration for Jo.
We went to Tae Woo Restaurant again!
Because I love their Jjajangmyeon.
Additional dish - the sweet and sour pork is kinda expensive though.
Additional dish - Boiled Mandoo
We then went to the basement Rolling Rice for a second round
Tteokbokki, Rice Rolls
and PatBingsoo.
The Bingsoo really can't be compared with the one I had in Korea.
This was pretty fail to me.
On my way home I walked past a new steamboat shop - New Taste, so me and Regine walked all the way to Macpherson on a hot day to try it. S$9.90 per pax for the set. Super filling
A really nice dessert was served to us, Free! Hehe, it's damn refreshing and good :)
Another lunch hour, went with Regine to Old Street Bak Kut Teh.
It is newly renovated and the table is like customized lol.
There's a drawer for cutlery and another drawer for the iPad menu.
The table includes an electric heater too, which we didn't need for our BKT la.
The meat is really soft and nice, but soup to me is okay only.
I love the sour plum drink though! :P
With Esther and LS, we went for dinner at Boneless Kitchen at The Commerze @ Irving.
It is a vegetarian korean restaurant just beside CarolMel Cafe.
We ordered their Ultimate Budae Jjigae Jeongol (Army Stew Combo) for $35.90
I prefer the original (non-vegetarian) Army Stew though.
The one we had at Bugis Seoul Yummy was pretty good.
Additional Side dish - Kimchi Fries
Whattttt??! The combination is yum. Mayonnaise is good too. But $7.90
Last Friday lunch with colleagues at Monster Curry. My first time trying.
Maccha Latte hohoho
So we ordered the $25 combo plate with 0 spicy level, shared among 4 ladies.
I love the curry sauce, it's good. But wahh the portion really super big.
They stated 'Good for Two', but I think it's too much for two haha...
Saw these big packets of my favourite snack - Milo Nuggets at Cold Storage, so tempted to buy!!
Need to save money save money save money...... So I psycho-ed myself to walk out empty handed.
National Day is coming, SG50! Super big event lol. They made the building so colourful by hanging up so many colourful banners on the HDB instead of the typical Singapore flags. Waseh not bad ah.
