Awesome People On the Trip

When we arrived at Budacco Hotel for check-in, Jo's Thai colleagues were already there waiting for us.
They were really nice and friendly and brought us to yummy yummy food :P

I have no idea where is this though, they say it's popular so here we are.

We didn't know how or what to order so left it to them.
Shocked when we saw that they wrote so much on the order list, we didn't understand anything!
But luckily all the dishes are small hahaha.

Some or rather most of them are spicy, I'm not good with spicy but sometimes it's really really delicious what to do? By the time we almost finish our dinner, my tongue was burning and I was spamming coke. Yea, I drank coke which I normally won't but they poured for everyone, so.

We had a second round dinner at Thip Samai, the queue was very long but it moves pretty fast.

Best best best Orange Juice I had! It is super fresh la!

Another best, Best Pad Thai I ever had.

Google for Best Pad Thai and you will definitely find this Thip Samai Pad Thai.

We almost went for a third round but cannot, too full already hahaha so they sent us back to our hotel.

Anyway, we found another day to visit their office at Silom to meet them for lunch and they brought us to a nearby street stall selling noodles.

This though I do not know it's name, is really yummy too!
I'm so happy I got to eat so much yummy food in this trip :)

& did I mention? I love Thailand rice noodles!

Dessert after lunch, they brought us to Silom Complex for Swensens ice cream.

Not your common Swensens ice cream, probably only available in Thailand.
I don't think you can tell from the picture but the green thingy on the whip cream is green bean paste and the other green thingy at the bottom, it's sticky rice! So yum!
I wouldn't have known to eat Swensens in Thailand because since Singapore have it too, but damn!

From their office, we get to see a nice view of one of Bangkok's attraction - Lumpini Park
where some of them often jog at. Well, we didn't go though.

So while they continued working, we went to a nearby salon to have our hair trimmed, wash, blow dry. Shiokness.

Went back to Silom Complex on our own and apparently there is nothing much to shop there because all are kinda expensive.
So we chilled at After You dessert cafe.

Dinner time we waited for Russ to pang gang to have dinner together.

Ended up going downstairs for take-away chicken rice because it was packed with no more seats.

So ta-dah. Back to the office again.

It's not bad, but I think Singapore have better chicken rice haha.

Drinking at Vesper after.

Awesome atmosphere with cool drinks!

Secret Earl Grey was the best from all that I tried. But it is also the more expensive one.

& awesome companions ;D

Thanks to Jo. and her Thai colleagues for bringing us to good food and drinks!
Khob khun mak mak kaaaaaa ♥

Where to go in Hua Hin

There wasn't really much to do in Huahin, it is quite quiet with not much crowds even at the attractions, except for night markets. We were told it is mostly visited by locals. However, it is pretty relaxing. Enjoying doesn't mean you have to have a lot of fun things to do or play anyway :)

The taxi fare at Huahin is much much more expensive than in Bangkok. T_T
& it seems impossible for us to travel around without taxi. So BOO. Maybe consider booking a private car next time. But well, overall it wasn't too bad la.

Anyway, our first station supposedly was Venezia because it's was near to our hotel. However when we reached there, it doesn't really attract us. There is entrance fee and inside seem to be just photo-taking kinda stuffs which we weren't really interested. So we headed off to Plearn Wan.

- Plearn Wan

Plearn Wan wasn't too bad. It was like a mini vintage village with some interesting food.

This one sells fried rice balls with many different flavors to choose from.

We ordered these big big pork balls too and waited so damn long for it to cook....

& this egg takoyaki thingy which caught many people's attention,
but when I tried, it wasn't very nice... Maybe it was because I ordered fish? mm..

There were a few other stuffs that we tried like shaved ice, and I forgot what. Either I lost the photos or I thought I took them but didn't lol.

- Chat Chai Night Market

Shopping time!

We had our dinner here

because I was tempted by these giant BBQ prawns outside.

My first coconut of the trip!

This Minced meat dish was really flavourful and delicious, except for the fact that it has garlic in it.
I hate garlic, but this dish is pretty good.

Mm... it's pretty scary that I finished this half kilo of prawns on my own because Jo is allergic to prawn. I feel damn paiseh to admit that though. HAHA thats seven fat prawns omg.

- Santorini Park

Entrance fee is 150baht. Each rides are to be paid separately.
We told our sort of private taxi driver to meet in three hours thinking that there would be a lot to do in there. Freaking wrong. We were done in like an hour or two and the weather was crazily hot.

We had to buy a separate Ride ticket in the park and this Dark Ride was the only ride we took.

It's just a 7D short movie with interaction la. We got to shoot aliens. Quite fun though hahaha.
There were only two of us and another guy playing though, and I got the highest score Woohoo!!
But no prizes...

Basically the rides in there are pretty lame haha. Here we have a two robots where we can sit in and control to fight against each other. I thought it was bumper car at first when I see the poster. Lol this is like.. Real Steel?

There was Trick Art Museum which we didn't bother going.

Chilling at Grape Story was the best.

I had this Toast with Honey & Green tea, not too bad. But the ice cream was just so so.
Because not Matcha haha.

Jo was in love with this fizzy grape drink with grape flavored ice cubes.
Indeed very shiok to drink in the scorching weather!

We then ordered in Burger and Hotdog buns from Gourmet Sausages outside the shop.

- Cha Am Beach

YES BEACH! I LOVE BEACHES

The clear sky and pretty clouds was the best.

Then we had our beach chairs for 30baht each to put our stuffs while we play.

Horse riding & Donut boat ride.
We took the donut because Jo was afraid the Banana boat would overturn.
It was really bumpy and we got ourselves all wet lol.

Everyone was saying that we rode a pony. LOL wlao.
Now I pity the horse. Is it that we are too 'big' or the horse small? :/

- Cicada Night Market

Many many food tents and DIY items.

We had to change our cash into coupons before buying our dinner. So troublesome.
But it was like food fare which is pretty cool.

Then it's shopping time again!

- Factory Outlet

We only stopped by here because we had time to spare and it was still early.

Nothing much here though.

& so we reached the end of our Huahin trip. Taxi driver dropped us at the bus stop where the Bus back to Suvarnabhumi Airport will pick us.
