Dramas & Movies Lover

I finally finished watching Blood after exams but the ending was kinda disappointing....

This is a 2013 drama series which I only watched it recently.
I Hear Your Voice
Love the male lead actor Lee Jong Suk! I love him in Pinnochio too. So so cute..
So here he had the ability to hear other's mind just by looking at their eyes.
This kinda weird supernatural shitz are my kinda thing HAHA

Then there's this super funny comedy drama with Song Jihyo.
Ex-Girlfriend Club
When I was at first episode I told my colleague that I wouldn't watch it if not for Jihyo, but anyway, I don't regret watching it at all.
The male lead's dimple smile is too charming and the show or rather the ex-girlfriends are crazy and hilarious.

As for Producer, with casts that korean drama fans would definitely know of, was kinda disappointing to me.
I love the casts, I love their acting, but there's no wow in the show. Probably just watching for the sake of watching them lol.

Comparing with above all, best is The Girl Who Sees Smell.
It's similar to I Hear Your Voice with the part where both uses their abilities to solve cases.
& I mentioned, I like this kinda thing hahahah

I watched Tomorrowland previously. It's.... not very nice.
Kid show. Around 3/4 of the movie shows them heading to Tomorrowland and running away from the bad robots.
& then a small part with them saving the world.
Apparently in here, running away from robots is tougher than saving the world.

Then we have Minions! The little banana pills who got famous from Despicable Me.
The show is quite stupid but damn funny hahahahha because Minions are natural jokers lmao.

Insidious Chapter 3!! Hehehehehe. Good horror movies just excites me hahaha.
& Insidious, Sinister, The Conjuring, are my favourite english horror so far.

Just watched Jurassic World, didn't have high expectations because friends say it wasn't very good.
I thought it was not bad though. The plot was so so but I like the dinosaurs, and the cast too!
Super impressed with Claire running so fast from dinosaurs in heels, seriously!!!!

So recently I'm kinda enjoying my holidays before school starts in mid-July.
Trying to exercise more lately so I've been meeting up with Jo at the fitness corner to do our weekly circuit training. Too weak, just one circuit and I feel like dying already lol.

Last Saturday went cycling at ECP, cycled for three hours. My first time sia hahahah. I suck at cycling but exercising feels so good :D

Bangkok and Huahin Trip 2015

I was back from Bangkok for awhile and too lazy to update until now.
So here I am.

Thailand was freaking hot. I bought and used up 2 bottles of Biore UV Perfect Spray there.

It was awesome man, I didn't get any sunburn despite being under the crazy sun for hours.
Fell in love with UV mist, PERFECT for lazy people like me hahaha. I've been seeing many famous bloggers advertising on the new L'Oreal UV Perfect Aqua Essence. Jo was using this but sparingly on face only because it's expensive.
I used my Biore for whole body that's why it finished so quickly lol.

Both with SPF 50 and PA++++. I personally prefer Biore even though I couldn't quite tell which works better or is better for the skin. Well, Biore is cheaper and can be used on whole body including hair. Maybe consider L'Oreal for the face and Biore for hair and body, but I do think the Biore one is sufficient. I haven't seen the Biore one in SG yet, not like I searched everywhere for it though.

On Day-1 28May (Thursday), we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport and I had my yummy Boat noodles with mixed beef at the Foodcourt for 50baht. So awesome!

It was funny we forgot there's time difference and was looking at SG time all the while..
Our bus to Huahin comes at 11:30am Bangkok time, so ended up we were too early and so sat down and did nothing for a whole hour.

Bus ride to Huahin took almost four hours so I slept all the way and then we were dropped off at Dusit Thani Hotel to wait for driver from Baby Grand Hotel to pick us up.
Dusit Thani Hotel is freaking big, just the lobby itself is omg. but uh, we go budget haha.

Previously I always wondered and ask people "Why do you keep going to Bangkok??? Not sian meh?"
& honestly speaking, I wasn't too keen before the trip. I guess it was because during my previous Bangkok trip I didn't quite get to eat a lot of the yummy street food. Everyday was just shopping and shopping and eating restaurant food. Which was pretty boring to me. Yes shopping there is cheaper than in SG, but too much shopping is not fun!

Anyway, after trying all the awesome food this time round, I've been craving for them ever since. Now I don't mind going back to Bangkok anymore! Hahaha

Bangkok - Platinum | Chinatown | Lebua Sky Bar

One of my must drink in Bangkok, is the Pomegranate juice by the streets.

It's really nice and refreshing!

Anyway, nothing much to talk about Platinum Mall.
It's just shopping shopping and shopping hahaha.

We did go to the Platinum food court for lunch, there's so much food there!

Ended up eating this Boat Noodle

It's only 18baht, and freaking small portion!!! Not filling at all lol, two mouths and its gone.

So we ordered yummy Takoyaki ^_^

- Chinatown (Yaowarat)

I wanted to go to Chinatown because there's many good food there. Jo isn't a foodie person though.
& there's nothing to shop there so she probably didn't enjoy it haha.

We got off the cab, and asked somebody where to find all the food.
Apparently most stalls only open at around 6pm. We were there at about 4 or 5 when there was only a few open.

Bird nest for 100baht

Then we came across Kway Chap, didn't know how to order or what it would be like.
So we just anyway tell them one bowl kway chap. Came and it was like kway chap in pig's organ soup. It's actually not bad oh. Jo only ate the kway because she's very picky with her food haha.

Then I found what I was looking for. Pig's Blood!

Banned in Singapore... So have to eat!
Mm well, I finished the whole bowl on my own again because Jo didn't dare to eat.

& right beside, after we were finished with the Pig's Blood, I saw Fish Maw.

Oh yay! I asked Jo to try since I suppose this looks less disgusting to her lol. & she liked it!
Delicious! hehehehe I ate so much la.

- Lebua Sky Bar

So we went to the famous through Hangover movie Lebua Sky Bar.

There is dress code to go up and no shopping bags so we had to leave it at the luggage storage.

I have no idea what Jo ordered but mine was Hangovertini which was created specially for the hangover casts.
It's good! & cost me 590baht.

We had a hard time taking photo because it was so windy!!! Lol!

Night view

Ok The End-

Bangkok - Chatuchak | Suhkumvit | Siam

D4 - 31st May (Sunday)

Of course we couldn't miss the Chatuchak weekend market.
It was freaking freaking hot though. Shopping under the hot sun was insane, just a while and we got too tired of walking.

Me and my coconut :P

Our next stop was Suhkumvit.
Don't really know what we were doing there, I thought there's many cafe. but we didn't know where were they haha.

Ended up in Honey House for lunch.

This is like sweet & sour fish. I forgot what they call it.

& here we have Prawn cakes, which Jo couldn't resist though she's allergic.
but luckily nothing happened. I guess some prawns is ok? lol

Som Tum, aka Papaya Salad. It's spicyyyyyyy.. but good!

Mango Sticky Rice my love!
When we came back from Huahin, Jo's colleague was asking why we didn't eat the famous Mango Sticky Rice there!
They were like "OMG WHYYYY???!!" LOL. We didn't know mah.. hahaha
Apparently many people can go all the way to Huahin just to eat that. but we missed it, oh well.

Okay moving on, we headed to MBK for more shopping (aircon shopping lol)
& then to Siam Square.

Too tired had to rest, so here we are at Satari for some enlightened drinks (as writtened).
Shiok shiok!

Came across the Hello Kitty Cafe so went in to take a look.

Pretty pretty cakes!

Next stop, Siam Paragon.

We had our dinner at Another Hound Cafe by Greyhound. Atas dinner because Jo was craving for it since we had it last time.

Yummy Chicken Wings!!! ^_^

Jo had the same thing as what she ordered last time, the minced meat pasta.

and I got myself a squid ink pasta, its just the pasta that's black, the sauce isn't.
Therefore, no black teeth after eating hahaha! Yum yum

We continued the night shopping at Siam night market and then ended the day with massage just outside our hotel.
Tiring but fruitful day spent! :)
