Another Day in JB

Hello hello! Yesterday spent a fruitful day at Johor Bahru with my two pretty ladies, but we totally overspent!!! I didn't have money to spend so two of them actually gave me an advanced Birthday ang bao with RM in it. HAHA Thank you darlings

Our standard JB to do list - Manicure, Massage, Light shopping, and FOOD! Simply because  it is cheaper than doing them in Singapore.

It was a freaking freaking hot day (Seems like always super hot when we queue for bus to JB). Expecting the girls to go out with an empty stomach like I did, I grabbed a few bananas to nom nom in the queue. Because we get really cranky when hungry!

Queuing at M'sia custom with ah ling
E is queuing at another line so we can compete who's queue is faster hahaha~

Our first thing when we pass the custom and arrived City Square....
MAKAN! It was lunch time by the time we arrived CS, and we were so hungry!
Imagine not having the bananas...

So we settled our lunch at Taang Shifu @ City Square.

♥♥

A cheapo birdnest drink, but not really cheap considering that I'm kinda broke.

I can't remember any of the dishes name but all 3 of us had mee sua.
I love mee sua! :D

Now lets head to KSL City!

Everytime we come to JB, we always have to remember to bring few packets of tissue paper.
Why? Because the toilets in KSL city, or most other malls, they do not provide toilet paper. There is also an entrance fee of 20cents... Oh well.

Anyway, first thing we did when we arrive at KSL was to go for massage.
Because if we do our nails first there might be possibility that it will be ruined during the massage.

Visited our previous massage place - Century Reflexology & Therapy
This time, no more body massage for me. Too painful!
I chose the 2 in 1 Relaxation Reflexology while the two girls did Meridian Tui Na Therapy... Which we were told that is even more painful than Body Massage. Crazy! That is too scary for me, so NO. Hahaha..

Maybe you can count the slippers to judge how popular they are.

So I'm alone.. Soaking my feet here..

Wrapped up and ready for foot massage~

Next we went to buy my favourite.. Egg Waffles! Honey + Cheeseeee
Yumyumyum...

Then to get Esther's favourite.. Crepe! She ordered Double Cheese!

♥♥

We went to get our phone screen protector changed, E got her parents and herself some new phone cases... & then we finally went for our manicure.

This time we did not go to our usual manicure salon - Nails Studio
Decided to try other...
It says Magical Nails outside, but if you search online or on KSL website, it says Dreams Nail Deco.
It's pretty confusing -_- because there is another Magical Nails in KSL.

Whatever. Anyway, their base prices are pretty cheap. But the add-ons are pricey.
So basically we were attracted by the price and deco of the salon, and when we got in, they hard-sell to us the add-ons which then we actually ended up spending more. Damn it.

I always wanted to do other colors but every time I see the color palettes, I end up choosing the same few..... Yup, pink again.

Dinner was at Beyond Veggie by Secret Recipe.
Because E is excited for everything vegetarian. Haha

The food portion is pretty big, not too bad but we couldn't finish it.
Not fantastic but okay to eat~ haha.

Finally, we decided to head back to City Square..
Had our dessert at Hui Lau Shan.

Mango is the signature!

Waiting waiting.....

Yay our dessert is finally here!
Because we didn't had enough money, we ordered one combo and shared.
OMG not enough. but no choice haha..

at the end of the day, we were feeling sticky and tired....

Okay end of JB trip. Byebye~

Enjoy Life

Hello!

Last Friday I went to watch Hungry Ghost Ritual after work, forgot to charge my phone so I turned it off to save the battery...

When I turned on my phone, I was spammed with calls and messages asking where am I.
Apparently my mom called and couldn't find me so she called sis and say I disappeared.... Lol sis went to ask all my friends whether they know where I am -_-" So yea, end up everyone was frantically looking for me.
Aiya, it's quite seldom anyone will come looking for me so urgently. but ok, next time I'll remember to post up somewhere to inform when my phone is dying......

Anyway, Hungry Ghost Ritual was not scary like what my colleague told me. & it wasn't very nice. Oh well~

Dinner was at Bibigo. Yay! Thanks to zw I get to eat good food heheh.
Above features Pork Tofu Stew. yumyumyum!

Spicy Fried rice cakes ^_^

Mandoo~ (Korean Dumplings)

& Ssamjang Pork!

All we ordered are delicious hehehehehhe :P

Oh right, I've changed my Korea trip to mid-August! So I don't have to miss my compulsory class or shorten my trip. It's slightly more expensive though, since its peak season. but we managed to change our flight from MAS to SIA. Woohoo~ No stopover anywhere :D
& now holiday is nearer! but I need to borrow some money...... cuz I'm freaking broke.

Who else is so pathetic like me, no money still insist to travel =#

Cheapo Lunch

Hello again, I just checked my school time-table and very unluckily one of my compulsory class clashes with my Korea trip. Damn it!!! So I have to come back earlier on my own, shortened trip + additional charges. Grrrrrhh... This is extremely saddening.

Anyway, to save money.. Like I said I've been limiting my daily lunch to $3.
So below are my lunches that are all $3 or below.

It's not that bad la hur.
I'm lucky I don't have to spend on Breakfast and Dinner because my mom prepare them.
But mm... Last Friday I met up with my friends for Movie - Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. & so we dined outside. & I requested to go to Food Court. Hahaha...
Last Tuesday I went to collect my course materials at school and so after that Esther, LS and I went to Holland V for dinner.. $_$

Then I realised how I really spent so much on food ALL THE TIME. Food court or Hawker centre was never in my options usually if anyone asks me where to eat.
I know, damn good life right. =#

 MU Parlour at Holland Village.
We spotted it randomly while walking, it's located on the second floor.

Charcoal Burger!

My study companions. Thanks for helping me get through the exams!!

Next stop, dessert @ d'Good Cafe
Spotted a random dog-butt at a corner of the staircase landing.

My model of the day- Hahaha

Earl Grey cake shared by three of us.
Mmm it tastes pretty unique, but not fantastic.

My next semester course materials..... Sigh.

If you want to stalk me, this is my school timetable...
But please don't stalk me la.
