I'm on Shopping Spree

Last weekend was a pretty tiring one.
Tiring because I was out most of the time unlike my usual weekends when I would stay home to watch my dramas and you know, not having to step out at all. So I'm really tired right now, plus it's Monday blues.

That Friday after work I planned to go for a short shopping trip in town on my own, just nice +Dan was free so yay I have company. Robinsons and then to Takashimaya. I didn't plan to get a new wallet that day but we were talking about I forgot what is it and somehow I suddenly felt like getting one, so I did.

My new Furla wallet, in magnolia.
I have no idea what color magnolia is until now because that's what they say this is.
It's just beige to me, but looks like pink in the photo.

Then on Saturday, my plan was actually to rest at home the entire day because I knew Sunday would be a long day.
I ended up meeting my sister and cousin for korean BBQ at Daessiksin where I went with CL before.
Daessiksin buffet is really affordable and their food is worth for the price too!

Anyway, Liqi went off to meet her friend for movie while me & le cousin went shopping at Robinsons while waiting for Esther. They have GST absorbed till yesterday! So I helped TY find a coin pouch for him to put his coins for the vending machine in his camp.. Lol...

& I got myself a Coccinelle card wallet. I'm like WOAH when I opened it because there's so many card slots and it opens up like a flower! Hahahahahah, makes me happy just by opening it up.

-50% off
-7% GST absorbed
-$10 Robinsons voucher
-5% Robinsons card rebate

How can I not buy? LOL

Then there was 'Purchase with Purchase' for some items and I bought a handbag for $39.
Esther used my purchase to purchase a luggage bag for I think $99.
Super good buy!

So with our happy purchases, we headed to Cineleisure for a movie - Inside Out.
Haha cartoon, but it's actually pretty good.
Didn't know or expected Sadness to actually be so powerful.

Sunday came and I dragged myself out of bed to prepare for the long day.
& so we headed off for baby Lucas' First Birthday party.
*Photos koped from my cousin the photographer-of-the-day on Facebook*

The mickey birthday boy whom I didn't get to carry or play with yesterday because he was too busy getting love from everyone.

So I played with other kids.

CHASING BUBBLES

Party ended in the early afternoon and I headed off to Bedok point to meet these long long meet one time friends. These whom I used to meet every week in the past haha.

Hubert drove all the way to SG to find us, and so we went cycling at ECP. Rent the bicycle for three hours to Bedok Jetty and back then went another direction, Fiona had to go off early and just nice Esther came to use up the remaining one hour for her.

In that one hour we managed to catch this view. Then chiong back to return the bike.

After cycling we had our dinner at Katong and ended up in Teoheng KTV after much persuasion from Shan.
Haahhaha. An hour of singing and home sweet home.
Bert damn nice sent all of us home before going back to JB, super long journey lol.

Anyway, awesome time spent! It was tiring but these people never fail to make me laugh :D

Fear the Fats & My Empty Wallet

BELLO. Hahaha love my Minion gummies so chewy~~~

It's TMA submission week so again I did last minute work yesterday and super duper sleepy right now zzz........

Anyway, yea despite TMA, since I always do it at the last minute, I found time to watch the new walking dead series - Fear The Walking Dead. This version shows the beginning before the apocalypse happens whereby everybody goes WHAT THE FCUK JUST HAPPENED when witnessing a dead person who.. just wouldn't die. Only one episode is out for now so it is still too early to judge. But the first episode wasn't too bad. It satisfy us Walking Dead fans while dreading through the wait for The Walking Dead Season 6.

Some people always wonder, how do I spend my money to always be saying that I have no money.
Well, I don't go out a lot, neither do I shop a lot. But.... I eat a lot. Hahaha~ Am always choosing the good food because I truly find it saddening to save on food, it is expenses that can't really be seen -  which is why it disappears so quickly. A big part of my monthly expenses usually go into vacation, insurance, food, and sometimes impulse buy. I don't shop or go out often, but when I do, I spend a lot. Lol. YOLO?

So yesterday lunch time we went to try out SUPERMILK at The Commerze @ Irving.

There was Lunch Set Special at $12.90 with any choice of Mains + a drink.

My apple juice was better than expected, but I still like plain water more. Hahahahahaha

Regine chose the Chicken Steak which was the day's special, not in menu.

While Pauline had their Oven-baked Chicken Leg.
All is good except the side veggies which was a little too dry.

For me I had their Signature dish - Tunisian Eggs
Sorry I suagu didn't have tunisian eggs before but this is so good. I love the bread too.
The bread is almost perfect, just not enough.

Then to add on our meal, we get to try this Bubblegum Grapefruit Sorbet at $1.90 a scoop.
At first I thought it was two separate flavors and tried to order 2 scoops, but it's actually one flavor.
This sorbet flavor is pretty new to me and very refreshing!!

This afternoon, lunch time we headed to Nex Mall. Pauline & I had ToriGo set meal at $11.90

Bibibibibibi~ My Giant Leg with Bolognese Chicken Pasta is ready to serve.

Good food days..........
I wonder how I'm going to save enough for my Korea trip like this.

怎么大风越狠 我心越荡

Hitman: Agent 47 with Dan last Saturday.

It's good, I like spy or agent shows.
Hahaha, actually I like so many things la.

Arbite for dinner because we wanted to try the Salted Egg Yolk Fries.
It's not too bad but not really fantastic, I think we had too high expectation.

+Dan is crazy for salted egg lol.
Even after trying so many salted egg pastas from different places, and concluded that it doesn't really go well together,
he doesn't give up.

Greedy me asked to order Truffle Fries because I've been craving for it for a while
but end up we couldn't finish it. Too much carbs lolol

My Salmon Risotto, pretty good but I won't really crave for it.
Don't think will purposely go back there again because Serangoon Garden is kinda inconvenient to go for me.

Anyway, lately I haven't found any new Korean or Taiwan dramas that make me want to watch them.
Ended up searching for older ones or even, China and Philippines.

The Faith 信义/ The Great Doctor 神医
I don't really know what is it called.. Both titles lead you to the same show.

Awesome drama! They call her the doctor from heaven but she is actually from the future.
The king in the show is young and a little short but I guess it is so that the warriors can protect him better, he just have to stand in the centre hahaha.

Bride of the Century was good too.
I don't know the main actress but she acts pretty well, & err hahaha there's Hong-gi oppa!
Noticed there's a lot dramas lately that shows two person that look the same with the poorer one taking the identity of the richer one. Or maybe it's just me always choosing this kind to watch XD

I just finished watching Destined To Love You,
don't really watch China shows usually but I missed Chen Qiao En's acting. They dubbed her voice though ):
Anyway, there are some Hong Kong actors too. & so many cute + hot guys, LOL.
All of them look super charming in uniforms, sometimes topless. Wahahahhahaha...

Currently chasing On the Wings of Love. It's my first Filipino drama.
Saw this on Dramacool and checked out the reviews which caught my attention.
I guess I'm really lucky being born in Singapore, didn't know how hard it is for people in other countries to get visa to simply travel out of their country even just for a short trip.

Recently, fell in love with this song - 野子
Super nice and unique song, 很有feel~

Now that Esther says she's considering to defer her studies, I don't really know how I'm going to stand studying on my own. Sigh pie. No heart to study at the moment...

The Birthday Month

Happy Birthday to me!
I had lots of awesome food and met up with some of my awesome friends, I'll have to say, its a great month!
Didn't have the time or effort to blog until now because I've been busy with my dramas. HAHA

Anyway.....

With my colleagues we went to Hungry Heroes again.
This time sitting the ground level of the cafe.

Super love the decorations and design in this cafe, it is very unique and really amazing collections of posters and figurines.

Food is good too! We all felt it was better than the previous time we came.
Cheers to improvement!

Four ladies shared a bottle of fruit cider. Hahaha

Caesar Salad

Luncheon Fries

Chicken Wings

Nice to Meat You platter.

We swapped the steak with pork ribs because Regine don't eat beef.
Well, not a bad choice anyway, the pork ribs is delicious!

Chicken so so.., & the pull pork is really good!!
It was a really satisfying meal ^_^

Then, the day before we are off for our long weekend, we had a mini birthday celebration for Joseph & myself and National Day celebration altogether, all of us wore red/white hahahah.

Late lunch with my girls the next day at the new Capitol Piazza's J-story
At first thought it was only me and CL meeting, then when I was heading to J-story, met Grace and Joelle.
HAHAHA surprise plan fail xD
Esther manage to surprise me though, she suddenly popped out of nowhere when we were talking half way at the restaurant.
Lol anyway I'm still happy to see all of them :D

Army Stew again but this time non-vegetarian.

Dessert next! At Marina Square O'ma Spoon

This is SO MUCH BETTER than the one we had at Rolling Rice!
YUMMMMMMMZ

Then we had this berry toast or whatever it is called.
  Not too bad

My Birthday cupcakes from the girls hehehehe

Pretty pretty Sweethearts

I am so so grateful to have these girls coming into my life ♥

Holiday Monday, went dinner and shopping with Mom at Bugis.
Dinner was at Bugis Plus' Poulét.

Ordered my favourite Truffle Mashed Potato.
My must order at Poulét hehe.

Their signature dish.
Poulet Roti in home-made mushroom chardonnay.

Salad de Canard Fume
Smoked Duck Smoked Duck me love!

Their SG50 Promo
Noix de Coco Creme at $5 (UP: $8.90)
This is WOW! Really good, my mom love it too.

Received Birthday angbaos from Dad and Grandma ♥♥

& two T-shirt shift dress from sweet boy Axl.
Size a little big but big is better than too small haha!

Didn't take leave on my Birthday this year because no more leave left plus I don't have any plans.
Work was shitty on that particular day but all is good after work.
I met Jo and CW at the fitness corner for our usual workouts and got these from them.
Waaahhh totally didn't expect this. But I'm not sure how often I will use the Polaroid camera though lol.

but anyway, THANK YOU ALL

Last Saturday after school, USS with Dan, Andre, and Joy.
Thanks to Dan we got to go for this Singtel SG50 event. Woohoo!

Awesome USS trip we had. The last time I went was years ago.
So much new rides to play! Weeheee

Took the Transformers ride and Puss in Boots for the first time.
The Transformers ride was pretty new to me, quite interesting haha.
As for Puss in Boots, I like it that it is roller coaster but the exciting part last only like one or two second.
A really short ride but ok la.

You know, what is USS without Battlestar Galactica?!
Thankfully it reopened. The seating have changed from 4 per row to 2 per row.
Oh well. Anyway, HUMAN (red) used to be scarier to me. But somehow they had changed the tracks and its not as exciting anymore. Prefer CYLON (blue) now hehe.

Lucky for us, the wait for the queues was not too crazy.
We didn't queue for more than one hour for each of the rides so it was fine. Thank God.
Managed to take all the rides that we wanted to take, Battlestar CYLON twice :D

Yesterday went for really awesome ramen with Dan at Bugis.
Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Four Seasons

YUMMMM

A belated birthday present from Dan.
The pen got my name! Hahahahaha nobody can steal.

& a Milo Nuggets Fun Pack.
When I first bought this pack I thought it's 12 packs of the normal size ones.
But this is in mini packs lol chey! Still cheaper though.

Assignment due date is coming soon. Most likely I'm going to do it last minute again hahaha.....
Bad habits
